hello

I know my blogging pace is damn slow at times
this entry is so outdated.. but still i'm gonna share. haha

so here's the looooong and Boring Entry with Lotsa Photos time ! :))

continuous from the China Trip on the 3rd Day - suzhou

苏州 19th FEB 2008

well If you still remember, the 杭州 trip was only on 2nd day .. and we went back shanghai at night. stayed in cousin's house at pu xi.

3rd day early morning around 7am, went to take MRT to Shanghai's Railway Station.

Tourist Attraction:

虎丘

HuQiu Tower which is known as Tiger Hill

of course there's no tigers in that park lah. haha

Tiger Hill is a hill in Suzhou, in China. It is a popular tourist destination and is known for its natural beauty as well as historical sites. The hill is so named because it is said to look like a crouching tiger. Another legend states that a white tiger appeared on the hill to guard it following the burial of King Helü. The hill is sometimes referred to in parallel with "Lion Mountain", another hill near Suzhou which clearly resembles a sitting lion.

Yunyan Pagoda:

a pagoda seven stories in height whose main architectural feature is its lean; it in fact predates and is taller than the Leaning Tower of Pisa

Spring of Simplicity and Honesty:

a well that, according to legend, first appeared as a spring to an exhausted monk carrying water up the entire length of the hill

hehe~ the photo cannot see so clearly... but it's very cute!

they use long grass and made all sorta animals and insects

at night I went back shanghai and dine in with my dad's friend at this Super Posh Restaurant in a Private Recreation Club

Super Posh is not being called for nothing.

-You dine in private VIP room.

-You watch teevee in the dining room which is Crystal Clear FlatScreen

-You use crystal glass to drink.

-You use high quality spoon and fork and watever la.

-The food they served is abalone, sharkfin, sea cucumber ... and alot alot more high quality FOOD.

I was seriously not used to it.

anyway.... don't tell anyone hor..

the Food ..... SUCKS to me :PPPPPP

I'm serious! High Class Restaurant so what?

They Eat for Their Name only maa~

I think My pop cooks better than that chef over there :)

right mingest? haha~ I'll ask pop cook you a good meal :P

Braised Sea Cucumber

comments:

- sauce TOO MUCH .. like water Fall

- Sea Cucumber didn't adsorb the Braised Seasoning

- the texture of the S.C is like you are crunching some ...erm ...plastic? they ain't have the QQ texture la get what I mean? hehe

anyway that dish's layout wasn't that nice as well la ... some Normal Restaurants have nicer layouts lo ... and also not just one pathetic brocoli? ... add some Mushrooms for deco maaa~ :P

Dessert:

eh dunno what issit called, but well it's something like birdnest in orange juice? LOL

okay! that's about the 1 day trip to 苏州

will post the trip on 上海 20th to 21th FEB 2008 another time ok. hahaha~
