SO HOT

not that the weather was so hot today. but it's my SKIN which is burning now! holy goodness :( :( :(

met up sm today around 10+am. brought her to my house to put her stuffs before we headed off taking a short bus ride to chongpang.

aiy~ .. we haven even walk ard there for 15mins .. and we decided heading off to northpoint (those nearby shops) alrdy .. coz it's all above 40+, 50+ bucks de.. :( .... ahha .. we WALK there in this hot weather . lol !! .. good morning walk exercise? LOL ! the shop lady boss recognised me manz (=.=") and dang~ why her new range stocks so EX this time round. hmm..... i guess I'll get it next week ba.

goody. sm brought extra swimwear for me today. hehe =D

we had lunch at the nearby coffee shop. i'm so kind to buy your roast duck rice for u girl. ahha .. my yummy wanton noodles ~:D :D

after lunch at 1pm. took a short bus ride to yishun swimming complex. hello !^^ ..

we had fun there for 3hours (1 to 4pm) haha. tan ! but we were like BURNT and COOKED instead. i tink i was more burnt now compared when i was tanning at sentosa's palawan beach :(

back home. bathe... i took a look at the mirror . tsk tsk~ REDness from my face to my arms to my back.. i hope all these burnts can go byebye by next week! :(

went lim chu kang's chinese cementry with my parents to 扫墓 for up coming's 清明节 in advance. acc dad in his coach to his company's service workshop in woodlands industrial for repair n servicing(some car knocked into his coach while parking their car. tsk tsk tsk)
lunch at nearby's foodcourt. yummy hor fun ! :D

tot of going to sembawang S.C to shop for luggage bag .. but when my dad drove us there .. and we realised ...
sembawang S.C has been tore down ! goodness haaha ..

guess nth else much happened today.

hello

met up jonnie. went back nyp today to do some stuffs. ( eh.. 1 mth nvr go back sch le! i miss sch.. and my beloved friends )

after which, went to meet my F'Bodz senior cheryl (which i suppose to go out today with her. haha) and met up with suming too. see im so good friend to come and accompany u to eat :) :)
* mr xavier , u are forever singing wherever u go. haha *

sent sm back to her fyp.. and me and cheryl went shopping in town. ( and i bumped into hong wei ! :) )
seriously ..
whenever i go out, i kept bumping into friends like Everywhere.. (=_=)

nothing much, but able to spend some time when friends which u seldom will meet is nice. enjoyed :)

while chilling at basement of taka .. i saw my ex-cca senior meihui !!! like since 2+yrs nvr meet le. so happy to see her.. :D

hello

today's a rather oven-hot afternoon ain't it? horrible =(

went out to bukit panjang to shop in the afternn .. other den that, i was basically was doing my new skin at home la. manz.. the part i had hard time was doing that silly dropdown list coding. thought of trying something different. hahaz .. tedious, till now i think still got some error to the listing. hahaz and another part was typing out those horrible long list of links :( :(

hello

the small drizzlin' mins ago cooled the hot weather this afternoon. yay :)

thanx alot. 1st my skin design was off to thrash when my com hanged suddenly. luckily it was half saved ! if not gotta re-do from scratch. heh~ ^^

and 2ndly .. this is the 2nd horrible time im RE-blogging. (=_=)!

now i better cut-short. lol

but i still left with 1 to a Full collection! :(

talking about anna sui fragrance.. look at the 2nd one from the right? the one with a lovely fairy on the bottle cap? haha

that's called "secret wish" - which sold at $121 per 75ml bottle

and DANG! i saw an imitation at the pasar malam days ago ! it's bottle just looks nearly exactly like the originals. but it's selling at around 10+ or 20+ bucks per bottle for the 'villagers' who can't afford those originals from A.S.. :( :(

similar bottle ... BUT! the name for it wasn't tagged as "Secret wish" (or any other more similar names)

instead it's named to sorta lame-o stuffs like "Love from a Glow" or watever other craps... yikes ! ......................

haha.. oh well

before i forget, happy birthday to karim! :)

weEee~ im off to watch Guess3 ! i guess i shall continue with my design tmr perhaps when all weekends are such a boredom? haha ( yay~ i finished 2 Roald Dahl novels this afternoon. lol )

hello

went jurong point this afternoon to shop with my parents.

and mum bought this toy for the shun jie's birthday which was coming in few weeks time. tat toy was quite cool, sure boyboys will like ba. haha

its a motobike which can transform into a Robot. .. power ranger has such range.. but more expensive like 30+ bucks. haha .. ours is ard 20+

manz.. when will i get a decent prezy frm my parents? haha.. wait long long (=_=)

yesterday was the last episode of hana kimi. any fans watched ? hahaz
i watched the last episode long ago... but the rest of the eps i didnt had time. so i straight jumped to watch last ep. ganchiong to know how they ended. hahaz
manz .. i tot quan will say ILU to ruixi la.. haha... but the ending was still quite funny and romantic...
oy .. i hope that director will film PART2 of that drama can ? hahaz :P

just another boring sunday.

i love cats dogs and any pets. those two cats living below my flat is so cute.. one of them just simply looks like pei fen's blak and white snuggie.

went yum cha at the foodcentre near northbrook sec sch in the morning.

skipped lunch. haha went off to orchard ISETAN with mum during the afternoon.

nvr buy clothes. buy food instead! cornflakes! ahha .. oh i love those softshell crabs which i tested juznow at basement! simply oishii ! :))

tonight is the annually Renci charity show on channel U.

hello

a humid saturday afternoon.

thought of going to orchard a lil' while to shop but those 2 cutie kids came to My house to play in the morning. As i said before, they are the 2 kids (next block neighbours) which my mum used to babysitted.
hahaz .. keke~ so i entertained them :))

Aaah~ that's my lunch today.

( aha.. tasted similar like the ones sold in our NYP's FoodJunction. lol~ )

my piano practise again. heex..

went IMM this evening to shop with my mum, the 2 kids and their family.
haven been there for a very long time. lotsa new shops.
baleno was on freaking SALES. my mum and them bought cheap t-shirts. haha~
what i was fascinated by.. was the JeanYip salon at IMM outlet.
quite diff frm the other outlets i used to see. super nice and professionally designed and glam lightings. like posh place to do ur haircut/beauty facial .. etc .. heh~ ^^

weekend TV programmes are the boringest if u dun even have SCV. ( like me. haha)

besides jacky wu's variety shows which are my favourites .. tonight i manage to watch a movie from channel5 - "What a girl wants"

really nice movie! and the girl who's daphne in tat movie was so pretty :)

happily touching ending.. great morale too yea? :D

Campus superstar audition was yesterday and today.

those few of my juniors who went and never get in ... dun be dishearted yea? jia you ! :)

and those who got in (i dunno which familiar faces got in yet.. haha) .. continue to do your best ! jia you wor ;)

hello

Humid weather. Boring. Rotting.

today my parents wasn't in good mood.
i had to cook lunch with my parents and myself.. Zzz.. cooked simple Kimchi instant ramen. yum!
i read a good book to kill off the boring afternoon :D :D

skipped dinner. only had some rojak and popiah with dad brought home. haha

some parents are "funny" at times. 哭笑不得!
for example:
- even when they are in the wrong, they didnt want to admit it and insisted they are forever right. HA HA
- when they got into a quarrel, their behavior turned rather childish which i simply cannot stand it.
and so on ............

excuse me. Give me some peace? :(

the last time i went to the swimming pool to play with water was like pri3 or 4.. haha very long ago right?
and i stopped going to the pool ever since... because.. i got drown tat time! funniest, i was using float and still i got drown! head and float in the water and my legs were above the air. yikes~
i need to learn to swim again :(

going out with cheryl on one of the days next week! Whoppieeeee~ :D :D :D
luckily i got my new camera phone b4 our outing. Loves!~ camwhoring soon ! YAY ! :))

hello

did nothing much again today.

today's celebration for my grandma's birthday!
"happy birthday to u grandma !!"
~lotsa loves from ur one and only granddaughter. haha :D :D

so during evening, to celebrate grandma's birthday, we went out for dinner to Amoy street's Beng Hiang restuarant with my parents, my aunt and husband.. and my grandma and uncle.
the restuarant is famous for hokkien dishs. and we had lotsa yummy food again! u guys can go try it ! hehe~

so full :( we had fish maw soup, cold dish, sea cucumber with braised duck, veges, braised meat on bun, shou mian and desert soup :D :D

nothing much else after dinner. back home to rot.
since i got nothing much to do... next few days, i tink i shall go and continue my designing of my new blogskin which i left halfdone from last holiday. hahaz~

Hello

I am back !! :D
was back from Malaysia on Yesterday night 10+pm.
SHAGGED ~~~

the day before i went m'sia (sunday evening) .. i was having dinner with my parents and dad's friends @ foodcourt - 大叁元 (right opposite simei mrt station)
and i saw Star Idol's 2nd winner - Leo Lam, walking pass my table to find a table there to sit down and eat too ! ^^
at 1st i looked at him and wonder why did he looked super familiar.. hahaz.
whoa. super tall lah this HK guy. heh~ :)

anyway the 2 days holiday was alright.. but journey sitting in the car for 5, 6 hours issn't fun! backside pain laaa... ahha ^^
* my sprained back hurts even more! luckily i felt alot better now*

and .....
not being able to watch Hana Kimi for so many days is BIG TORTURE to me !!! *sob*
waliew .. left last 4 episode la! today and tmr i also can't watch it too coz im out to dinner!! argh~~ luckily i can still view everything online! (^_^" )

this is my 2nd time going to malaysia ! hehe~

- KL and Genting Highland -

12th March '07 (monday)

wokeup at 5am (tired la!) . prepared. set off.

my dad and one of his friend took turn to drive to malaysia. we stopped a lil' while at one of the rest point (which was opened by mediacorp artisite cheng shu chen) ... and we had a lil' breakfast there. yong tau foo ! = RM6. ( SG3 bucks!)

even though my dad studied malay last time... we still had tough time finding Hotel Midah as the traffic direction board was all in melayu~~ dang~
unlike SG, traffic in m'sia was terrible too. we nearly crashed with one car. *god bless me!*

so we reached m'sia ard 12pm ! long journey in the car ... (=_=)

well so...

we had lunch at one the famous Buk Kut Teh shop in KL.
for those who don't know how does buk kut teh (pork rib tea soup) looks like..
it's like this :)

fragrance soup base, fresh pork rib and intentine + kong fu tea to go along with.
yummy !

after lunch, off we go to visit some of KL's tourist attraction:

next, went chi cheong gai ( KL's chinatown which is also called: petaling street chinatown) to shop and had dinner.

we went to JB for our dinner.

we reach JB around 8+pm! really long car ride yea? (=_=)
we eat lotsa seafood for so many days la especially fish head curry again! every dinner i had past few days was SO FULL! but still i didnt grow fat. Zzzz...

after dining. yada yada~ .. and drove off back to singapore !

home sweet home at around 10.15pm !

yay ~~ im back !

overview of this trip:

fruitful. eye opening and fun and alot of cheap nice food and stuffs ( i even saw BK's ice cream selling at RM0.5 sen.. which is = SG 0.25 cents ! (o.O!)
but..
going back to singapore makes me feel more secured somehow.

don't u think so? our SG security is tight. no riots. no messy traffics. and good food too ! haha .. peace !

Malaysia truly Asia.. so is Singapore !

hello

this afternoon i went out with those 2 kids which my mum used to babysit. had much fun. haha .. i wish i've siblings too :)

dang~ i sprained my back!
.. now even when i bend down or to sit on the sofa, it hurts manz~ zzzzz
i guess its becoz of the carrying and moving those big heavy flower pots around my house yesterday :'(
** luckily i felt a lil' better after rubbing. quickly heal pls !! **

tomorrow morning, i'll be heading off to KL+genting for a short holiday...
how short?
for 1 day only. and i will be back on tuesday evening. very rush yea? hah~ (=_=)


anyway i guess there's also nothing much to pack too since im going for 1 day only.

haha.. essential things to bring along with me ! :

-toiletry, extra clothes.

- handphone!! ( it's a MUST. coz i need the camera in my hp to take photos! ) heex~~

- my mp3 ( to kill the long hour of boredom on our way there. dad's fren is driving. hehe)

and maybe my beloved adidas jacket too, genting is freezing during the evening!

all these should be well fit into my lovely adidas bag. yay~ Loves! haha ;)

I am going out to somewhere in Tampines with my parents and with dad's friend for dinner soon tonight . I heard the place we'll be going to eat is quite famous for it's fish curry? haha .. I have no idea. will try a lil' later and see ;)

hello

did nth much productive again today.

morning, afternoon... rotting at home and practise my piano.

wasn't feeling well la.. whole afternoon till evening.. my head was just spinning. walk and a lil' swaying at the same time. im not drunk. just dunno whats wrong. zz ..

luckily i felt better now :(

this evening .. me, my parents and my dad's china friend headed down to a 'zhi cha stall' situation in toapayoh.

The zhi cha stall is called "hai fong restuarant- 海丰餐室" .. situation inside those ulu corner blocks of flats .. just right opposite the Singapore Press Holdings building.

but since their food there was nice .. people from far also don't mind travelling down to eat the food there. ( this stall has been voted Channel U's 优选美食王 2nd placing !)

the food are not bad although its a lil' bit more expensive.

For example:

normally u go to any other zhi cha stall to order hor fun, it usually costed around $3.50 at most. but this stall in toapayoh ( its not even a food court.. its a normal coffee shop zhi cha !)

and ... per plate .. it costed 5bucks !

and mind you ! ........
u have to wait for that plate of hor fun or any other main dishes for like at least .. 45mins... to 1hour because the business was so good.

long queue waiting or to takeaway; and many ppl from faraway just dont mind coming down here to wait ard 1 hour for good food to eat.

as i said their hor fun was one of the stall's star dish.
So, what's so Oishii about it?

- they follow the tradition way of cooking. like the past 70s,80s .. hawkers use special-picked dried banana leaves, bamboo leaves to make a base on the plate and place the hot fried noodles above it. ( u ask ur elderlys, they'll know ) this will make the food more delicious and u can smell the fragrance.

- they cooked the hor fun with extra ingredients like squids, prawns, 猪肚, 猪肝, lean meat and crispy pok choi .. etc etc ( $5 of food, of course the ingredient had to be better right ?! ahha )

hello

i came online quite early these days .. to accompany my dear friends in fyp or attachment to chat. ahhah .. everyone is super bored.
i promise to come down one of the days next next week ba! cant wait to have lunch again with u all also ..
other den msn msn ... it has been like weeks since i last seen my friends physically, right aisyah ? haha ! ;)

nth much today too.
entertained my dad's friend from china ... who came to singapore to holiday/ tour and visit my dad for 1 week. He nvr came to SG or malaysia b4 .. so this week we will bring him around.
coming monday... me, my parents and him will head down to KL.. and go up to genting during the evening.
ssheesshh .. not so fun as we will only be staying there for 1 day and be back in SG the next day.. which is tuesday. lol ! ...
but at least this outing will be fruitful .. rather than spending another day rotting at home again .. haha ~ :)

hello

went down this morning to comcenter to switch my old mobile plan to student plan. so now, the account will be under my name instead of my parents... which ofcoz im still paying the bill myself la. LOL~

i bought a phone for myself ( rather quite an old model ) .. nokia 6288.... as my 2 year contract is up looong ago. ( former hp was sonyerricson K508I which cost me ard 100+ )
this nokia6288 which i bought is my 2nd phone actually .. haha..
walao.. i see alot of kids like dunno how old only seh .. but got phone alrdy ! .. those parents nowadays really pamper their kids too much !

hmm.. this hp was okok la.. anyway ..i normally focus more on the camera quality la.. haha.. the 2mp was alrite, quite clear .. but i haven yet tested taking photos at nite ( as i heard there will be dot dots on the image when taken at dark areas) .. oh wells ~

nothing much happened today .. was watch telly at night and doing the setting of my hp.
juznw after i switched to a New SIM card for my phone... ( no contact nos in my new phone book yet ) .. will do it tmr... haha
so i saw this sms.
i haven transfer in my contact numbers from my old phone ..... so when i saw the sms .. it shows only numbers ofcoz .. no name ma ! lol~
haha.. thought who was so funny ..

coz the sms was:

" hey. im so bored. can u come and visit us? those FYPians"

i was like : HUH ?! who the heck so funny sms this to me~~

ahha .. in the end i went to check the number on my old simcard. .... it's SM !

today was another day to rot at home with my parents.
went off to cityhall in the evening with mum to check out at the hello! shop .. enquiry on switching to student plan
couldn't change coz i need to get my dad down too as well bcoz my former hp acc is with my dad's.
so tmr i need to head down to comcenter with my dad inorder to change account to under my name.

went to find bel a lil' while juznw before i head off home.
missed out 1 episode of hana kimi !!! aaahhh~ lol ! :P

my dad was watching extreme japan. osaka seems so niceee.. i wanna go japan ! but so expensive yea! :'(

oh yea.. i watch a lil' bit of channel8's new 9pm drama "miracle"

not bad .. fann wong inside ofcoz ! :D :D

and best part is..... (Nyp student must be proud of..)

this drama's 外景 are mostly filmed in NYP.

you may thought it was hospital's office area la ..

but the gardens.. the staircase and the outside of the hospital office block .. were mostly filmed in NYP !! (some of us saw them filming didnt we?)

the episode today .. filmed level5 of dunno IT blk or SEG blk !! hahaz~

( maybe a few of those nurses acting extra cast .. were from our nursing course. hehe)

hmm.. if they film at health science nursing block .. should be even better huh.... heex~

i don't know wat i gonna do tmr besides going to comcenter in the morning..

im dead BORED. 好闷哦 !!

today those friends of mine who are doing FYP and attachment de.. ahha.. all came MSN me in the afternn when i online at home.

fyp and attachments are boring and dry. especially 1st few days.. nth to do.

i even sugguested my mum going off to sentosa with me as she is also bored at home after quitting her old babysitting job le.

and we're off to 海南岛 for few days right b4 school opens at 16th april.
dad says we are going 海南岛 to visit some of his taiwan friends. oh yea.. me and dad are hainanese though I dunno how to speak at all ! wahaha....

hello

today is the last day of CNY. which was called 正月 15th 元宵节.
so happy 元宵节 to all !! :)

didn't do anything much productive today except entertaining those kids which my mum babysitted last time. aha.. they came to my house for visit.
and evening, we all went to nearby coffee shop to have dinner together..
and wat a coincidences ... i bumped into deming !
whoa~ why in such a ULU ULU coffee shop will also bump into friends ah ! ahha.. somemore u live in sengkeng ! haha... oh well :)

been few days since holiday started. and i have been rotting ! tsk tsk tsk~

anyway yesterday wanted to go back to my workplace at woodlands to collect my pay cheque... before heading off for my music class.

but when i reached khatib mrt station .. theres an announcement "distruption from admirity to kranji for 1 hour"

i knew it must be another 'jump track' incident again.

and i was right. worse still... happening at woodlands platform ! wootx~ ( hey i was wanting to go there ! omg)

according to news and witnesses at the platform ,

the lady luckily didnt die becoz the train emergency stopped. heard she got some bones broked. thats all. lucky.

really didnt understand why are there always such incidents happening

there are ppl who are more unfortunate than us .. so things can surely be solved. life is precious, treasure it ! :>

so instead of going woodlands yesterday. i changed my plan. go straight early for music class. haha

and i went back to woodlands today instead to collect my stuffs.

.. company say no work for march (for most of all the partime staffs) till further notice coz they wanna cut down on employment of staffs alrdy due to low season and mannagement change.

i hope i will get my roster for april soon!

work OT also no OT pay sia.. dunno why my company management became so horrible.

no work during holiday season. ok. lets rot. haix

hello

it's raining almost the whole day again. shivering cold. nice to sleep in bed yep? :)
today went marina with sm.
at 1st was only planning to just shop ard.. haha.. but that girl really por me go kbox with her. so i end up the whole afternn being inside marina sq's kbox.. haha ! wasted all my money again ! LOL ~~
but anyway i did have fun singing with her. haha.. fun shouting i shld say. sang numerous of our favourite songs frm SHE, feilunhai, jay chou and xiaozhu's songs etc etc.. hee~

rush back home to hanakimi-ing. wee~ haha.. my mum enjoyed it too! lol~
juznow was bitten by a horrible mosquitoe. i wanna smack it but missed.
manz so scary.. i saw that it was white strips legged. gosh~ i hope it issit those mosquitoes which will spread dengue fever to human when biten !!
