HELLO folks!

For those who have already graduated from Primary School/ Secondary School/ Junior College/ Polytechnic/ Univesity, how's your graduation experience like??

my attachment ended months ago so I'm still currently an unofficial polytechnic graduand.

hey I can't wait for my graduation to get near, can you ? :D

Three years of polytechnic life was fast even though everyone of us complained every single day how boring the lectures are, how pathetic the canteen food are, and even stressing and screaming over "MY PROoooJECTS ARE PILING UP LIKE MOUNT EVEREST !!!!!!!!"

say "Hello World!" to the working society. hah~

I don't remember there's any grand graduation for primary school.

all they do is to ask you to: "LINE UP!" ...

and then all the obedient kiddos will line up class by class in the hall and then their respective form teacher will realise the report card to them,

end of school

"you may go home"

big yawn

B.O.R.I.N.G

for secondary schools and junior colleges,

a lil' better lah

we had graduation party.. which is also known as "prom night",

Rich and well-known schools will hold a Dinner & Dance party in HIGH CLASS hotels, the rest of the neighbourhood school will hold it in some Country Clubs ( eek.. like mine .. but I don't complain) ...

because ....

erm .....

worse come to worse .... some other schools even hold it IN SCHOOL!!

alright, so on that day of prom night

every teenagers will start to doll up themselves, get their prom dress or suit and

"LET'S GET PARTYIN'!"

and then as always,

they will have items like:

Prom King, Prom Queen, Most photogenic competitions etc etc

ps: lots of the girls start touching makeup for the first time .. was during secondary school's prom night.... and it was a DISASTER,

am I right to say so?! :P

hokay . fast forward ....

to me, most University or polytechnic graduation ceremonies are pretty much similar.

so you rent and collect your graduation gown.

and on that very day,

meet up with your classmates or friends hours before your ceremony

and have your last Macdonald meal together in your school canteen.

you'll wear the graduation gown which you rented and get up the stage nervously and shake your delicate moisturised hands with the principle or some VIPs as they hand over the certificate to you

the big SCREEN will film you walking up that stage, shaking hands, grinnin away.

audiences will be clicking away their cameras or video cameras

and your parents sitting at one corner will turn left and right telling the people sitting nearby: "LOOK! THAT'S MY SON/ DAUGHTER!!"

eh wear that gown up, shake hands .. get down stage

LESS then 5mins of Fame !!

hello

yesterday afternoon,
I went TanTockSeng,
I went Hospice Care,
I went OldFolksHome.

yea, for getting a wheelchair for grandmom.. because else where is much more expensive for a 2nd hand.
the wheelchair thingy is settled at last. thanks for all those who tried to help :)


you know what?
I hate going to hospital.
It just gives me the creep.
In any case you don't know what's Hospice Care.. it's a place for people who've got less than 3 months of life.
like families that need to work & unable to take care of their whoever that's gonna die soon... they'll bring them over to Hospice Care... & nurses will look after them.

I walked pass all those wards yesterday .. damn upsetting to see those patients lying in their bed moaning away. sigh.

What Is an Heart Attack?

A heart attack occurs when blood flow to a section of heart muscle becomes blocked. If the flow of blood isn’t restored quickly, the section of heart muscle becomes damaged from lack of oxygen and begins to die.

The most common heart attack signs and symptoms are:
Chest discomfort or pain—uncomfortable pressure, squeezing, fullness, or pain in the center of the chest that can be mild or strong. This discomfort or pain lasts more than a few minutes or goes away and comes back.
Upper body discomfort in one or both arms, the back, neck, jaw, or stomach.
Shortness of breath may occur with or before chest discomfort.
Other signs include nausea (feeling sick to your stomach), vomiting, lightheadedness or fainting, or breaking out in a cold sweat.

no wonder my uncle everytime went for body checkups, doctor kept saying there's nothing. & next moment after he died, it was found that he've got heartattack.

just like mcking I suppose?

hello

yesterday's Thanksgiving day.
alright.. it's for Canada.
I wish I'm still over there.. hehe.. I missed out the turkey feast :)



damn tiredout.
today I visited grandmom. I'm so worried for her condition :((
afternoon, went around many places searching for wheelchair.
1st handed wheelchairs are like $300, $400 at least. 2nd hand ones are much cheaper.

late afternoon, headed down to Church of the Risen Christ.
there's this uncle who tried to help me after knowing that we're in hurry to get a wheelchair.
I really appreciated all his help. thanks so so much.
god bless you.


last month uncle fred died :(
days ago, another uncle died of lung cancer :(
sigh.

heh *excited* but wanna rant something :

THE ISLAND is a spectacular 2005 movie. A full throttle thrill ride !
not sure any of you watched it on channel5 yesterday night?
Its actually my 2nd time rewatching this. hah still damn cool :P
It's as awesome as A.I (Artificial Intelligence) !
To me nice lah ... not sure any of you like ornot .. because both are futuristic, scientific themed movie.

TheIsland has more action pac. heh.... awesome la.
the part where tom lincoln's clone insisted that he's the real tom lincoln. and after several intensed moments, he cuffed the cloneID bracelet on tom lincoln's hand ... and BANG! the police nabbed the real guy instead. damn clever !
